Bridgeville Public Library

On August 17, 2009, we held the ribbon cutting and dedication for our new library located at 600 S Cannon Street.  The new 13,500 square foot facility includes a computer lab, 200 person capacity meeting room, local history and genealogy room, reading lounge, and children’s area.  Services include circulation of library materials, color and b&w printing, color and b&w copier, fax services computer access, wireless internet access, and free programming.  Programming includes lapsit, storytime, family fun nights, adult and teen book discussion, and special monthly programming.  All programming and events are free and open to the public.  Please visit, find us on Facebook, or call the library for a complete listing of events.

The Bridgeville Public Library provides free access to a variety of materials, programs, and services in a  friendly and welcoming environment.  Special emphasis is placed on providing current, high-demand, high-interest materials in a variety of formats.  The library also promotes genealogy research and a local history collection.  In carrying out its mission, the library enhances the quality of life in our community.  Our goal is to provide the community we serve with a quality collection, with programs and services in a facility that is accessible, safe and comfortable for all of our customers.

4-6 year olds

Lapsit:

Wednesday:   10 am
3 months – 2 year olds

Family Fun Night:

FRIENDS OF THE BRIDGEVILLE LIBRARY

The Friends of the Bridgeville Library is an association of members helping to make the Bridgeville Library a place for all residents to learn and grow. It offers a channel for community individuals and organizations to share ideas while providing enhanced programming, fundraising, advocacy, art displays and overall support to library functions. Membership in the Friends of the Bridgeville Library offers volunteer opportunities to share skills and talents.
