Construction and Limited Access to Town Hall – 10/20/25-11/3/25

Date Posted: Friday, October 17th, 2025
Starting Monday, October 20, 2025, and lasting until the first week of November, there will be no parking lot or sidewalk access to Town Hall. The next part of the park phase requires the redevelopment of the entrances from S. Main Street and the resurfacing of the parking lot.

Town Hall will still be open and operating, but in-person access can only be achieved from the North Side of the building. Please be safe while using crosswalks in this area.
A temporary drop box for payments, applications, etc. has been installed to the left of the entrance of the Police Station at 105 S. Main Street (Yellow Star). This drop box is secured and monitored by a security camera, with checks performed multiple times per day. Please do not ever place cash in a drop box.

The entrance to the Police Station will remain open during construction; however, if you park at the Police Station, you cannot walk through the construction area or have access to a sidewalk to get to Town Hall from the Police Station during these two weeks.

Because of these interruptions, there will be no delinquent water shut-offs in October, and interest will not be charged on delinquent water accounts. Normal operations will resume for the month of November.

If you need to arrange to drop off or pick up something during this time period, we recommend calling or emailing us at Town Hall to coordinate for the safety and convenience of all. Phone: 302-337-7135, Email: townofbridgeville@gmail.com.

Should any changes or updates occur through this process, we will post them on Facebook and on our website at bridgeville.delaware.gov.
And remember, you can also find more information on the park project (or other projects) on our “What’s Going There?” page on our website.
