**Please note, as of December 2022, the Town of Bridgeville officially moved to use the State of Delaware voter registration system in place of using a separately maintained list for the Town. All voter qualifications below still apply – registration is now only required with the state – please follow this link for registration info – https://elections.delaware.gov/voter/index.shtml


VOTER QUALIFICATIONS:

  • United States Citizen and Resident of the Town of Bridgeville
  • At least eighteen (18) years of age
  • Resided with the State of Delaware at least thirty (30) days prior to the Town Election
  • Qualified Voter in the State of Delaware

The Town Maintains five voting Districts. Please see Election District Map for more information.

Candidate Qualifications / Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizen and at least 21 years of age on or before the date of the Election
  • Live within Election Voting District you wish to represent
  • Bridgeville Resident at least one year immediately preceding the date of Election
  • Qualified Voter in Municipality at least one year prior to the date of Election
  • Qualified Voter in the State of Delaware
  • Not convicted of a Felony
  • File a written letter of intent to be a candidate with the Commission President or Secretary by the candidate filing deadline
