WINTER STORM UPDATES   We are now looking at precipitation starting around midnight on Saturday, and continuing through to Monday. What is uncertain is the timing of the shift from snow to ice, then back to snow – including when that lovely precipitation sandwich will occur and what the impacts will be.   Either way, we are expecting significant snowfall in the hours leading up to any changes in whatever form the water chooses to take, and that is how we are preparing. Now for some friendly reminders and tips –   In the event that the state declares a level 2 state of emergency and implements driving restrictions – PLEASE HONOR THIS – emergency services need to prioritize clearing roads, not pulling vehicles out of ditches and snow drifts.
