Public Works – Water & Street Departments
The Town of Bridgeville Water Department supplies the citizens of Bridgeville with drinking water that meets all standards set by the Delaware Office of Drinking
Water and the Environmental Protection Agency. Public Works Director Brandon Slater and his team achieve these qualities through constant monitoring and testing for contaminants in our potable water supply, which is delivered from six groundwater wells.
Routine maintenance of our well sites and distribution system helps deliver quality water to our community.
Cross Connection Control Program
In 2011 & 2013, the Town of Bridgeville received a Water Fluoridation Quality Award from the US Department of Health & Human Services. The award is given in recognition of the “consistent and professional adjustment of the water fluoride content to the optimum level for oral health for 12 consistent months”.
