Bridgeville Public Library

The Bridgeville Public Library provides free access to a variety of materials, programs, and services in a  friendly and welcoming environment.  Special emphasis is placed on providing current, high-demand, high-interest materials in a variety of formats.  The library also promotes genealogy research and a local history collection.  In carrying out its mission, the library enhances the quality of life in our community.  Our goal is to provide the community we serve with a quality collection, with programs and services in a facility that is accessible, safe and comfortable for all of our customers. It is located at 600 S Cannon Street.

Story Time

  • Every Tuesday for 2-4 year olds: 11am-12pm
  • Held in the Children’s Area
  • Story time goes on hiatus during the summer months due to their Summer Reading Program activities.

Caterpillar Clubhouse

  • Every Wednesday for 3mos-3 year olds: 10-11am
  • This program is held in the meeting room and is Year round program

Family Fun Night

  • Check the library website for details

Adult Craft Nights, 6-8pm

  • Third Friday of each month, Registration required for each event and Light refreshments available
  • The library provides materials.



The Friends of the Bridgeville Library is an association of members helping to make the Bridgeville Library a place for all residents to learn and grow. It offers a channel for community individuals and organizations to share ideas while providing enhanced programming, fundraising, advocacy, art displays and overall support to library functions. Membership in the Friends of the Bridgeville Library offers volunteer opportunities to share skills and talents.
