Downtown Improvement Matching Grant

Dear Business/Property Owner,
As part of its effort to improve the appearance of “Downtown Bridgeville”, the Town of
Bridgeville is pleased to announce that it is offering a second round of matching grants
for commercial building improvements on Market Street. Grants are available to assist
commercial property owners in addressing the costs of eligible improvements. Seventy
five percent of project costs, not to exceed $1,500, will be reimbursed by the town with
owners paying the other twenty-five percent (total grant eligible project cost $2,000.)
Grant Applications are available at Town Hall 101 North Main Street or the town’s
website and must be submitted to Town of Bridgeville, ATT: Economic Development
Committee. Applications must be submitted by Wednesday, October 12 before 4:30
p.m.
Recipients will be notified by Wednesday, October 26, 2016. Work must be completed
and paid invoices submitted no later than Wednesday, December 28, 2016.
Eligible improvements include wall painting, facade improvements, signage, windows,
awnings, lighting, engineering work as indicated on the grant application. Applicants
who do not receive a grant in the Fall cycle will be eligible to reapply for a grant in the
Spring.
Business/property owners are strongly encouraged to take advantage of this exciting
opportunity to be part of this phase of the town’s downtown improvement efforts.
REMINDER: The deadline for applications is Wednesday, October 12, 2016.

As part of its effort to improve the appearance of “Downtown Bridgeville”, the Town of Bridgeville is pleased to announce that it is offering matching grants for commercial building improvements on Main and Market Street. Grants are available to assist property owners in addressing the costs of eligible improvements. Seventy five percent of project costs, not to exceed $1,500, will be reimbursed by the town with owners paying the other twenty-five percent (total grant eligible project cost $2,000.)

Grant applications are available at Town Hall 101 North Main Street or the town’s website and must be submitted to Town of Bridgeville, ATT: Economic Development Committee. Applications must be submitted by Friday, April 8 before 4:30 p.m.

Recipients will be notified by April 15. Work must be completed and paid invoices submitted no later than June 24, 2016.

Eligible improvements include wall painting, façade improvements, sidewalk repair, signage, windows, awnings, lighting as indicated on the grant application. Applicants who are not included in this cycle due to funding limitations will be placed on a waiting list for the budget year beginning July 1, 2016.

Business/property owners are strongly encouraged to take advantage of this exciting opportunity to be part of this phase of the town’s downtown improvement efforts.
