2014-2015 Heritage Shores Special Tax Report

The 2014-2015 Heritage Shores Special Tax Report (click on link to view) for the Heritage Shores Special Tax Development District was approved by the Commissioners at their May 12, 2014 meeting.  The special tax requirement for the upcoming fiscal year is $1,297,000.

Garbage/Recycling Billing Information

 

ATTENTION BRIDGEVILLE RESIDENTS: Please be advised that you will no longer be billed by the Town for garbage and recycling services. You will now be billed quarterly by Waste Management for those services. Their first bill, which has already been sent out to the Bridgeville residents, is for the months of November, December and January.

Emergency Preparedness Voluntary Registry

The Emergency Preparedness Voluntary Registry is linked to a secure database which ties into the State’s 911 system making this valuable information immediately accessible to 911 dispatchers. With this registry, 911 dispatchers will now be able to provide first responders with specific details about a citizen’s special needs before they arrive on the scene.

Delaware Watershed Implementation Plan

Delaware is among six Chesapeake Bay Watershed states – along with Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and New York – and the District of Columbia committed to a federal-state initiative to develop a pollution “diet” that will help restore the water quality of the Bay and its tidal waters by 2025.
