Water Main Break-S. Main Street update
Date Posted: Tuesday, December 21st, 2021https://www.facebook.com/BridgevilleDelaware/ At approximately 5 to 5:30 AM, crews were able to complete the repairs to the water main on S. Main Street and water has been restored. We are issuing a precautionary boil water advisory for any properties affected by this break. As mentioned previously, most properties only had very low pressure during this incident, and the properties completely without water were in the direct vicinity of the break on S. Main Street. **It is recommended that anyone with no water or severe low pressure during this incident follow this advisory.** The length of repair resulted from a failed valve on the southern end of S. Main street that made it impossible to shut the water off completely, which is what caused the steady low pressure.
